Hurry in before March is a memory. They have the usual Coors light (of course) and feature Lagunitas’ IPA (naturally) but this month they’re trying out a brand spankin new line from Sam Adams called Marathon 26.2 Brew (you can read more about it in our previous blog post on new items) The cliff notes :
The Samuel Adams Boston 26.2 Brew is a Gose style ale brewed in partnership with the Boston Athletic Association for the first time for the 2012 Boston Marathon, and was exclusively available in select pubs and restaurants along the marathon route in Boston. Gose is an ancient German style, brewed with over 50% wheat, and flavored with coriander and salt. The result is a light bodied, very refreshing beer, perfect for rehydrating after a marathon! It’s like Gatorade for adults!
Does that pique your interest? Sure did ours. Let us know if you tried it and what you thought.
